No I don’t mean downtown. Sonoda’s (3 locations) on Broadway is tucked well back from the other restaurants at the busy intersection at 6th Avenue. But expect the same top shelf sushi as you’d get at the larger Aurora and Downtown bars. Lunch can be packed but early and late diners can usually find room at the sushi bar for seasonal favorites like flash fried marsh crab and octopus seaweed salad. But leave room for the lava roll; it’s the best thing on the menu.
