I used to love going to Maggiano's (both locations). The food was excellent, the portions were insane, and the selection was the best. Now they revamped their menu (its MUCH smaller) the portions are now what you would get in any restaurant, and the food is just average.

There are much better Italian resaurants in Denver, and much better values. I used to take leftovers for lunch but now there isn't a lot left.

I don't know if I'll go back.

  • Though Maggiano's Little Italy occupies a high-traffic site at the end of downtown Denver's busy 16th Street Mall, its roomy interior creates a tranquil atmosphere to enjoy a traditional Italian meal. For a moderate price range (about $6.25 for appetizers to $28 for the beef medallions), Maggiano's offers traditional standard Italian dishes, such as the Filet Mignon ($24), the Lobster Ravioli ($17 to $23) and the Chicken Parmesan ($15.25). The restaurant's central location makes it an ideal stop for mall crawlers with an appetite for pasta and red sauce.
