SERVICE UPDATE!

I said I'd give them another chance, so I did for a quick. I was pleasantly surprised to find the same bartender/server that was previously unattentive and she was great! Very accommodating and kept my coffee full. The hummus platter hit the spot and I'll definitely be back to an MMA match soon.

We went to Gibby's and with no one at the server station, we sat ourselves. The bartender/server seemed to maybe notice us, but she didn't say hello or anything, so when we sat we wondered if we should go announce our presence. We were soon greeted with menus and our drink orders were taken. However, upon delivery of beverages we were ready to order food, but the server didn't take our food order or ask if we were ready or anything. She just dropped drinks and left us alone for about 10 minutes until we just decided to leave and go to the Elm :/

I'm sure it was just a small slip up and look forward to updating this review when we try again another time.

  • Gibby's is the classic neighborhood bar where every night the place is packed with regulars. Aside from their two-level main room, there is an extension off the back where a whole new world opens up. In the winter it serves as a covered patio complete with heaters and a separate bar. In the summer it's a full on secret lair with a volleyball court and tons of space to rock out. If sports are your thing, they have about a bazillion TVs and plenty of pitchers to go along with the game.
