  • Just a few blocks west of Federal & Alameda, this family establishment has a distinct Latino flavor. Children are welcome until 6 p.m. after that they get the big booteroonie. Once the tots call it a night on Fridays and Saturdays, you can jam with the house DJ who mixes it up with Latino Club and 80s hits. Occasionally, El Malandrins invites a live band - if they are good - and there is always a jukebox for whenever you want to spin your own tunes. Leave your plastic at home, though, as this hacienda is cash only.
