First time some friends and I stopped in to see what our coworkers were raving about. Found out they were right. The place is great, server was excellent. I like the menu - had no trouble deciding what sounded good - it was all good.

I've been to Slattery's many many times since it opened about a year ago due to its close proximity to my work. The food is decent enough. I like the chicken ceasar wrap and open face turkey sandwich. A number of flat screen tv's adorn the walls with either sports or CNBC playing. However, using the word "PUB" in its name is a bit of bait and switch. The crowd is typically quite a bit older and often on the stuck-up side. It is in Greenwood Village after all, and everything in the Landmark area is meant to be upper-end. The staff is generally slow and beers/drinks are always slow to arrive. As a result they don't accomodate happy hours very well, but do have BOGO drinks til 6pm (kinda short happy hour). I've also had instances where the staff (managers) have been very rude. Currently the place benefits from being really the only "bar" in that Landmark area, getting the local workplaces and people going to Comedy Works or the movie theatre.

This Irish pub has food so authentic that they actually serve Black and White pudding. Lest we, the uncultured writers, go off on a tangent regarding the utter foulness of such cagmag, we'll skip to the good points. If you're in the mood for traditional you can get fish-n-chips, liver and onions, bangers and mash, and scotch broth, though there are also options for the less adventurous crowd like creamy tomato and artichoke soup, steak and blue cheese salad, and chicken wrap sandwiches. It's all served in a laid back environment that doesn't only acknowledge its heritage on St. Patty's Day.
