My husband and I spent over $200 at Opus for my birthday tonight. We have had better food in Denver for half the price. In addition, the service was virtually non-exsistant. Every time we had to ask for anything, it felt as though we were being a burden on the waiters. When they brought our food (and this happened repeatedly, as we ordered the 6-course tasting menu) they would drop it off without saying much of anything and then disappear as fast as possible. I only remember one time during our entire meal when the waiter actually asked if we needed anything. The service was so off that I wonder if they were short-staffed this evening. I was looking forward to this meal for weeks. Sadly, did not live up to expectations and my birthday ended on a low note.
