Yu can find Ruth's Chris or Morton's or Del Frisco's just about anywhere. There is only one Brook's Steak House and it wholly deserves its inclusion in the top ten independently owned steak joints in the country. The beuatiful, intimate wood-paneled dining room offers an elegant venue for any special occasion. The wine list is extensive, the cocktails are poured heavy, the martinis are perfectly frosted and then you get to the steak. Seared to your liking on a 1500 degree oven, every cut is the finest you can get anywhere. And they come complete with vegetables and potatoes so you don't have to deal with buying the typical $10 baked potatoe at other high-end steak places. Truly the Denver areas finest steak house.

When my wife and I decide to spoil ourselves and spend a ridiculous amount of money on dinner (anniversaries, holidays, occasional splurges), there's no place higher on our list than Brooks. The crab cakes are world class as is the French onion soup. The service is consistently amazing. It's definitely expensive, though... With an appetizer, a few glasses of wine, a couple of prime New York strips, and dessert, plan on spending around $100 per person. It's not the most expensive place we've dined, but definitely in the top 5. True excellence does have its price.

Try one of these tips to improve your results:
  • Ensure your search term was spelled correctly.
  • Use a filter, search by neighborhood or drag and zoom the map to check a different part of town.
  • Make your search less specific (e.g. Chinese instead of Kung Pao chicken).
  • Are we missing a venue or event? Add it and let us know what you think.
  • Denver should be jealous this steak house is actually in Greenwood Village. If you don't have the money to throw down on a chartered jet to Paris, you probably won't find a better option for a romantic and elegant night out than this venerable restaurant. While your tab might be double-take inducing, relax, pour another glass of wine from their award-winning list, soak in the ambience and stare longfully into your beloved's eyes. You've done good, Romeo.
