We arrived at about 8:15am with a little bit of trepidation as a gentleman approached our car and asked for money. A note about the parking meters in the area. They are $0.25/hour so no worries about parking. We were greeted inside the restaurant by the owner, Adam, who thought we might want to sit in the "upper" part of the seating area. There is a bar straight ahead as you enter, for those who want a bit of the hair of the dog, I suppose. Anyway, down to brass tacks. The coffee was wonderful, Adam knows the stuff, ask him why, I don't need to explain. The better half had the much ballyhooed Pineapple Upside Down pancakes which she couldn't finish so I polished them off and can tell you they were delicioso. No maple syrup needed on those babys. Before I finished her brekkie, I had my own Biscuits and Gravy with scrambled eggs and hash browns. Good eats. All in all, I can't say anything bad about the place. A good reason to go a little "further" downtown than you might normally go. 5 stars, people.

My husband and I decided to check out Snooze, depite the long line that was always forming outside every time we drove by! There usually is a bit of a wait, but this place is WELL WORTH THE WAIT! We are originally from Chicago (where there are tons of amazing restaurants all over the city!), and we had a difficult time finding restuarants that we really loved. Snooze is by far our favorite! The service is great, the decor is very retro, and the food delicious! The flight of pancakes is a 'must try' (they always have different flavors as well as a 'special of the day')! That alone will hook you! Everything I have had there has left me wanting more. Even our friends are hooked now! I believe they use organic and locally products in a lot of their dishes, as well.

Try one of these tips to improve your results:
  • Ensure your search term was spelled correctly.
  • Use a filter, search by neighborhood or drag and zoom the map to check a different part of town.
  • Make your search less specific (e.g. Chinese instead of Kung Pao chicken).
  • Are we missing a venue or event? Add it and let us know what you think.
  • Eating breakfast at Snooze, you might feel like the band Weezer is about to burst through the door and start singing "Buddy Holly."  It has the retro sort of feel of the Happy Days-set video, mixed with the modern interpretation of the band.  We think this is a good thing, and, judging by the lines, apparently so does half of Denver.  Aside from the vibe, the full bar - a rarity for a breakfast joint - probably has something to do with Snooze's popularity.  Take a walk around Lodo at, oh anytime, and you'll see that Denver likes to drink.  Wash down you kamikaze with their cakey pineapple upside down pancakes.

    What exactly is 'eh?'

Eh. I don’t feel strongly about it either way. I don’t hate it or love it, I wouldn’t recommend it or dismiss it, it just is.
