We had made a reservation for 2 and asked to change it to 3 a day before we were supposed to go. The day of, we were told by the GM that we lost our reservation for 2 because we asked for 3. When I called him back, he said we must have called the wrong number and they were pranking us. Really? We called the wrong number and they answered "The Oceanaire" and proceed to "prank" us. When I told him that was ludicris, he said he was taking the reservation away from us altogether! After complaining, he recanted and, to make it up to us, he'd give us a $100 gift certificate. On our way there, he called me back and said that we had mistakenly made our reservation at the wrong time--accused us of trying to scam him and said that he was rescinding his offer.
We mistakenly made the reservation for the wrong date. It was an honest mistake. He told me TWICE that we weren't the type of people they wanted at Oceanaire!!! This place is classless!

I called ahead and made reservations for my bf 21st birthday the lady asked what was occasion for visitnf them i let her know. well we arrived early so we could hit up the bar. the bartenders were so nice and even gave him a birthday special. when we sat down to eat and gave us our menus we noticed that they had printed at top happy 21st birthday chris. i was in aw. our food was so delicious ordered the florida spiny lobster and he the halibut. after we were done they brought us dessert on the house. i wish i could remember the name of it. it was like this bg marshmello thing with ice cream inside then our waiter poured 151 ( i think) and lit it on fire so good.i cant wait to go back. between the bar and food for two it cameout to 150 but it was all worth it. Service and staff was unforgettable they help me turn a special night into spectacular one. THANK YOU GUYS

we were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in the door until we walked out. the chef (matt) came out and checked on us. the special catfish dinner he fixed should be on the menu all the time. it was mouth watering. the salads were crisp and the dressings were seasoned just right. we had a wonderful meal and the personnel know what customer service is. what a great place. should allow us to rate it higher than 5 stars. can't wait to go back

I had a business dinner at The Oceanaire and was very impressed. Coming from the East coast, I'll admit I was hesitant to try seafood inland. However, everything was so fresh and well prepared. The staff was polite and attentive but not over the top. They also have a great wine selection for Restaurant Week with wines that are usually close to $100 for only $50. Would definitely reccomend.

Try one of these tips to improve your results:
  • Ensure your search term was spelled correctly.
  • Use a filter, search by neighborhood or drag and zoom the map to check a different part of town.
  • Make your search less specific (e.g. Chinese instead of Kung Pao chicken).
  • Are we missing a venue or event? Add it and let us know what you think.
  • How does a restaurant that is well known around the U.S. for its fresh seafood, promise such lofty heights in a state without a sea? Firstly, The Oceanaire makes us land-lubbers feel like we have a pair of sea-legs (sans the peg-leg), with an interior reminiscent of 30’s art deco ocean liners. Secondly The Oceanaire is passionate about freshness bringing you a markets worth of seafood flown in daily and a menu printed just as regularly to reflect the market. With a huge Oyster bar as the focal point of their interior and, quality as the focal point for their philosophy, The Oceanaire finds itself strongly anchored alongside the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Eh. I don’t feel strongly about it either way. I don’t hate it or love it, I wouldn’t recommend it or dismiss it, it just is.
