Just a correction, no credit cards are accepted at either location. They are always friendly and the coffee superb! You can also get their coffee by the pound so you can make it yourself. They have 2 locations now. Both have the same overall "vibe" but are also a bit different from each other. Also pet friendly and have their own group of regulars who stop in!
The staff is always ready to fix you a cup of coffee and offer suggestions if you want to switch it up. You can't go wrong here! Bring your laptop and have a nice cup of coffee here, they offer free WiFi.

Another splendid rebellion against the Green-Apron Death Star and the over-roasted swill they call coffee, Metropolis brews a decidedly rich and detailed cup o’ Joe, using nothing but Fair Trade beans. Their espresso jockeys are as friendly as they need to be, and they pull shots the old-fashioned way (by hand, not by computer) so you can actually order a latte made ristretto, if that’s your thing. A fine spot for after an after-dinner treat. Try a pastry with your coffee.
