The food at Little India is delicious--I will give them that. Be sure to make reservations! I personally will never eat there again after my first and last visit--my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try while walking downtown. They sat us, but hovered around our table asking if we were finished with our half-full plates. She actually combined food from one of our plates onto another plate so she could clear our table faster! I finally asked why we were being so rudely rushed and the waitress said they had a reservation waiting. Then she had the audacity to ask if we wanted dessert! Forget about it-- there are way too many delicious restaurants downtown to have to hassle with the service at this one.

Your search returned no results.
Try one of these tips to improve your results:
  • Ensure your search term was spelled correctly.
  • Use a filter, search by neighborhood or drag and zoom the map to check a different part of town.
  • Make your search less specific (e.g. Chinese instead of Kung Pao chicken).
  • Are we missing a venue or event? Add it and let us know what you think.
  • If you’d been to Little India’s lunch buffet a few years ago and came back now, you might think we were living in Russia circa 1991.  They’ve been raising their prices in accordance with post-revolutionary Soviet Consumer Price Indices.  The buffet – which now sets you back $9 – is still one of downtown’s tastiest, although they save the real cooking for the menu items.  The chicken tikka masala is excellent, but is steep lunch-time price tag may have you running for the bread line.

    What exactly is 'eh?'

Eh. I don’t feel strongly about it either way. I don’t hate it or love it, I wouldn’t recommend it or dismiss it, it just is.
