Loved the food here! I lived in Germany for awhile as a kid, and could never find "real" German food here in Colorado, til we accidentally ended up here on Mother's Day! We were so impressed with the service, food and atmosphere! We would highly recommend to anyone!

acky decor, rude waitress/owner, severely over-priced nasty food, skimpy portions, and overall horrible experience. The waitress was blatantly snubbing us and was very rude for no reason. We were put in a dirty corner of the restaurant and waited for 15 minutes for her to take our order. We then had to wait another 15 minutes just to get the "bread and salad" that came with our meal. It was literally 1 slice of bread cut in half. The "salad" was a saucer featuring one spoonful of corn, a blob of shredded carrot and a tsp of beet puree. My $15 noodle entree was terribly bland and dry. My husband ordered the $23 stroganoff and was equally unimpressed with his dish. It was all-in-all about 4 bites of food.The waitress never came back to our table and stood in the corner for at least 30 minutes just gossiping. We drove 40 minutes to get to this horrible restaurant. If we did not have the gift cert, I would have been furious.

Head over to Golden to Westfalen Hof for a traditional taste of Deutschland along with other European favorites. The atmosphere is distinctly Vaterland and they serve up all those dishes that are as fun to say as they are to eat like Goulash, Jagerschnitzel and Stroganoff. We know the Germans have a penchant for meat and the Hof does not disappoint with Bratwurstplattes, Schlachtplatte, Frikadellen and, of course, Schweinekotelette, all overflowing with glorious meat.
