I want to take a minute to let you know of a gross case of cross contamination. Big Papa's BBQ has been cross contaminating food for evidentally the entire time they have been in business and it is a surprise that no one has gotten ill because of their food product. Big Papa's serves a number of different meats including beef brisket, pork butt, whole chickens, beef ribs, bison ribs, and two different kinds of pork ribs, and turkey breast all received in a raw state. Every nite Big Papa's BBQ smokes raw beef brisket and pork butt in their Southern Pride rotisserie smoker. Several times per week they also smoke in the afternoon and they smoke what ever they need in that one batch that could include chicken, turkey, pork ribs, beef and/or bison ribs. This is an extremely touchy concern because their Evan's location serves a large number of people of the Jewish decent many of who do not eat pork and only eat a beef product, and what they dont know is that is is smoked with pork every night.
