On the expensive side for hangover brunch, but one of the best breakfast burritos in town. Truly bottomless chips and salsa for a dollar make for a great snack even if you aren’t having a full meal. Great place to catch the game, or get your green chili fix. Only complaint is the chimichangas aren’t deep-fried—without the deep-frying it’s just another burrito.

Don't know what has happened to Blue Bonnet but the food used to be much better.
It is mediocre at best and has no spice or flavor - it's too bad, it used to be one of my favorite places for Mexican.

I love the food here!! There is sometimes a wait if you go around 7 pm, but once you're seated the food comes fast and is great! I bring friends from out of town here all the time! Highly recommend!

  • Even though the folks at Blue Bonnet claim to have no affiliation with any other area restaurants, we have definitely found some similarities to one of our Aurora favorites. Regardless, this famous spot tops them all. Aside from the chips and salsa, the food isn’t spectacular, but the atmosphere definitely is. It’s the perfect spot to kick back and relax with some friends, while enjoying a refreshing and delicious specialty margarita or an ice-cold Corona.
