Buzz about Croc's Mexican Grill

My friend was thrown out by a little bouncer on a power trip. We were doing nothing wrong!! We just sat down with our drinks and were having a conversation. He was shorter than the other bouncers, maybe hispanic or something, and came up and grabbed my friend by the arm and repeatedly told him he had to leave before the cops came and arrested us all.

Part sports bar, part Mexican restaurant, Croc’s tries to be all things to all people—and largely succeeds. The walls are festooned with HDTVs, each broadcasting sporting events, and the tables are arranged for clear viewing from any angle. In addition to normal stuff like tacos and burritos, their cooks whip up several unusual treats. The blackened tuna steak is slyly spicy and thoroughly tasty. Croc’s also sports one of Denver’s more impressive selections of tequila, including the delectable Don Julio Anejo.
