Nice place for a bite to eat. Unique historical bar. Lots of atmosphere of old Colorado. A bit of the path and a bit pricey but good food.

  • Ensure your search term was spelled correctly.
  • Use a filter, search by neighborhood or drag and zoom the map to check a different part of town.

  • The Old Louisville Inn is one of Colorado's oldest remaining antique bars, located in a historic building that was once housed a brothel. The joint has cleaned up a bit since then, but Samantha, a harlot who was stabbed to death by one of her customers, is said to haunt the building. Louisville is an old coal mining town and the OLI saloon was a favorite for the rough miners. The copper spit trough, once used by local coal miners for spitting tobacco, still exists along the floor of the front bar.  Look for the .22 caliber bullet hole in the lower front bar while you enjoy a juicy buffalo burger.

Eh. I don’t feel strongly about it either way. I don’t hate it or love it, I wouldn’t recommend it or dismiss it, it just is.
