First my gripes; Opening bands do not start until 10pm!!! By then I am usually over the limit to drive so that keeps me from going there to often (hardly ever). Expensive drinks and food. Small bar.
Not a place to go to alone. On the good side the bands are usually better than average. The atmosphere is really nice. Bathrooms are nice. Good people. Two dollar PBR's. The sound is also very good. I recommend it if time is not an issue.

  • Ensure your search term was spelled correctly.
  • Use a filter, search by neighborhood or drag and zoom the map to check a different part of town.

  • Josh Karp got it right when he opened the Waterloo Ice House in Louisville. Karp’s father opened an independent record store, Waterloo Records in Austin, Texas more than 25 years ago, which is where Josh found his inspiration for the restaurant. Music memorabilia pay tribute to the greats, including a Stevie Ray Vaughn water fountain that illuminates the back patio. The classy, locally owned and operated Waterloo Ice House continues to be inspired by great music. A stage, where musicians show their stuff three or four nights a week, and a custom rod iron and oak bar, designed by Josh Karp, the owner, dominate the cozy retail space. Never frozen Colorado Coleman beef is the restaurant's specialty--the Potato Burger is a local favorite.

    What exactly is 'eh?'

Eh. I don’t feel strongly about it either way. I don’t hate it or love it, I wouldn’t recommend it or dismiss it, it just is.
