No, it’s not waddle and daub and dark paneling, it’s a glass fronted Colfax bar next to Scooter Liquors. Streets doesn’t have a lot to do with ‘London,’ décor wise (though there’s a Bobby’s helmet or two behind the bar) but they serve up a mean fish n chips and shepherd’s pie alongside pints of hard cider, stout and bitters. The staff is friendly the jukebox is jam packed with British invasion and rockabilly favorites and you will find actual English folk there watching soccer and rugby on the TV. Authentic enough for me!

This is, hands down, one of the best bars in Denver. Though fashioned in the style of a traditional public house, it doesn’t beat you over the head with wall-to-wall British kitsch, which somehow makes the place seem more authentic. They serve excellent food with an English slant—fish-n-chips, bangers-n-mash, shepard’s pie—and have a fine selection of beers on tap. The bartenders are friendly and know how to treat regular customers. With one of the best jukes in town (an eclectic mix of artists) it is well worth your time to travel these “Streets.”
