We went there on a Saturday night the place was packed. Come to find out they had poker. After a few well poured drinks and some convincing from the bartender my friend and I decided to play. We had such a great time. Everyone was very friendly, the pricing was reasonable, and the staff was friendly and our drinks never went dry! We will be back.

This is our favorite place to hang after a baseball game or any weekend for that matter. The staff is awesome, Gary your bartender/poker dealer, Kathy, D, Sara, Hana and of course Teal.

Try one of these tips to improve your results:
  • Ensure your search term was spelled correctly.
  • Use a filter, search by neighborhood or drag and zoom the map to check a different part of town.
  • Make your search less specific (e.g. Chinese instead of Kung Pao chicken).
  • Are we missing a venue or event? Add it and let us know what you think.
  • The Thirsty Bear is a small bar with a great atmosphere. And yes, bears do get thirsty for a nice cold brewski. If Yogi was on HBO, you know damn well it wouldn't be the picnic baskets he was chasing. The uptight ranger could have used a drink anyway. Booboo? He was stoner so the only thing he was thisty for was Kool Aid. Yet we digress. The Thirsty Bear can quench any thirst and bring just about any boozer out of hibernation. However, there isn't a whole lot there in the form of entertainment so you'd better bring someone that you really enjoy talking to. The beer selection isn't too bad either and they have pretty decent food, especially the weekend breakfast. And the best part is everything is pretty reasonably priced so you won't have to break the bank to enjoy a night out.

Eh. I don’t feel strongly about it either way. I don’t hate it or love it, I wouldn’t recommend it or dismiss it, it just is.
