Buzz about Rheinlander Bakery

The minute I walked in the door I was assaulted by good things....smells, sights, sounds, service. Everyone is cheerful and helpful. The baking goes on within sight of customers, the smells of baked goods and coffee hit you immediately. Products are beautifully presented. What's not to love in here?

Have your cake and eat it, too, at the Rheinlander Bakery. After owner Maro Dimmer battled cancer in 2001, she and husband Ed created their Sweet Deliverance line of dairy, wheat, sugar and gluten-free cakes and pastries. These treats make up about half of the 300 items the bakery offers. Don't miss the traditional strudel (full helpings of sugar and fat is included). The oldest bakery in Arvada, opened in 1963, also serves gourmet coffee and espresso. If the weather's nice, take your pastry to the outdoor seating and soak up the charm of Olde Towne Arvada while you munch.
