This is a cool neighborhood bar/restaurant. They've got an awesome happy hour deal ($1 oysters, among other things!) and feature some great live music. I'll definitely go back.

I took my girlfriend here for 5280 restaurant week and we both found the food to be poor. The appetizer and salad by know means blew our minds and the entrees were the worst part of the meal. I had the Mahi Mahi which was the smallest and thinnest piece of fish I had ever seen and to top it off it came with veggies that tasted like they had been FROZEN. I eat a lot of frozen veggies and trust me I could tell. If they can not serve fresh veggies then I would not trust the freshness of the seafood either. My girlfriend had 2 tiny scallops with salty mashed potatoes. I bought scallops at Whole Foods for Valentines Day that were 3 times the size of the scallops they served her. Bottom line we were both still hungry at the end of dinner and found our 5280 experience to be a disappointment. Wait staff was nice and the owner greeted us, but that does not make up for the poor quality of food in my opinion. Too bad.

Steak Diane
8 oz. flat iron, traditional Diane sauce, sauteed seasonal vegetables, garlic herb frites

This was a joke, they have no idea what Steak Diane is. Go to the Cheese Cake Factory for better food , value and an excellent evening. You cou go next door and have a wonderful pizza, just do not waste your time here.

I have now been here twice within the last six weeks. Each time the service was outstanding and the food fabulous. I cannot wait to come back. What a terrific little neighborhood restaurant AND locally owned and operated.

Try one of these tips to improve your results:
  • Ensure your search term was spelled correctly.
  • Use a filter, search by neighborhood or drag and zoom the map to check a different part of town.
  • Make your search less specific (e.g. Chinese instead of Kung Pao chicken).
  • Are we missing a venue or event? Add it and let us know what you think.
  • Since Colorado is land-locked, the state has had to be inventive when it comes to seafood. One such patent covers the Rocky Mountain Oyster and if you don't know what that is you should try one first and then ask someone who knows. Thankfully at Highland Pacific, their seafood actually comes from the sea. From po-boys, crab cakes and yellowfin tuna to the above average raw bar selections you can almost smell the ocean at this Highlands eatery. Swing through during Happy Hour for discounted menu items for under a dollar.
