Buzz about Stampede
We started going to The Stampede 15 years ago. We've always loved the atmosphere there and the staff is great. We met at The Stampede when we were both taking lessons and we just celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary - at The Stampede! It's a wonderful place to dance, or learn how to dance. It's not your typical bar environment - it's just a lot of fun. We've met a lot of nice people there. Come out and give it a try. You'll be very pleasantly surprised. We give The Stampede a 5 star rating!
posted on January 5, 2012This is a great place to get out and dance. Huge horse track dance floor that surrounds an inner bar. Dance floor has long floor to show off or try out new moves. The staff is friendly and the DJ's and bartenders are top notch. Wednesdays and Saturdays women drink free so there is plenty of fun friendly women to dance with. There are also dance lessons on Wends and Friday nights.

The author writting the review of the Stampede must be a Grizzly Rose. I go to both clubs and must admire both for being in business so long. The Stampede is a different Country Nightclub and has so much energy. Yes it has six bars but that is not to "make it all go away," but to serve the 1000 people that are in there on Wednesday night. For every 16 years they have had grat crowds so maybe you need to "make it all go away" because you can't find anyone to dance with.

- Ensure your search term was spelled correctly.
- Use a filter, search by neighborhood or drag and zoom the map to check a different part of town.
- Make your search less specific (e.g. Chinese instead of Kung Pao chicken).
- Are we missing a venue or event? Add it and let us know what you think.

Stampede is a brash, punch-drunk novelty, just like the contemporary country music it’s been spinning over the last 16 years. Urban cowboys may roll their eyes when the DJ drops the latest Top 40 R&B hit, but the club welcomes all, even offering dance classes for the uninitiated. If the two-step and boot scoot boogie-ing isn’t your thing, there’s a serviceable menu of bar food, and there are six different bars throughout to be found throughout the club, in case you just want to make it all go away.
