We were so excited when we saw this place opened in our neighborhood. This was the WORST food we have ever had. We ordered the Falafel appetizer and it was nothing like falafels should be. There were four of them and our family of 4 managed to eat half of a falafel. My husband ordered the combo meat platter. He'll eat anything but nothing tasted like much. I ordered a beef Shawarma and was brought a chicken shawarma that I could not eat. The sauce, which was supposed to be yogurt based with cucumbers was just that and nothing else. The secrets of this mediteraneean sauce are a big mystery to this cook as it tasted nothing like it was supposed to. For our children, we ordered Mac and cheese and a croissant burger. The thought is always that they'll eat with us as they pretty much eat anything but we always order some stand-by's just in case. The mac and cheese was microwaved penne pasta with cheese sauce poured on it. How can you mess up mac and cheese? The pasta was so hard, noone could chew it . The burger was equally hard as the patty could have been broken in half. Even the lemonade was watered down.
The waiter was a teenager that must have been new. He also needs to go but service is something you can get over with decent food. When he brought the check, he asked my husband if he needed a pen :). Not sure how he expected him to sign and add a tip :)

I did not expect perfect middle eastern food in Parker but even if it is not authentic, it needs to be eatable. Whoever was cooking back there plain does not know how to cook. It's not even safe to eat this food because if they are so far out there to think they can serve this food, they probably don't even know the first thing about food safety!
This review is not the least bit supposed to be mean. They just left me no room to say anything good.

La Shish was bought out and turned into Sultan girl. Alas, the Sultan dove head first into Parker's inescapable bottomless pit of restaurant failures.

Try one of these tips to improve your results:
  • Ensure your search term was spelled correctly.
  • Use a filter, search by neighborhood or drag and zoom the map to check a different part of town.
  • Make your search less specific (e.g. Chinese instead of Kung Pao chicken).
  • Are we missing a venue or event? Add it and let us know what you think.
  • Parker isn’t exactly known for its selection of ethnic dinning, but La Shish is spicing things up Mediterranean style. Formerly the breakfast and lunch spot for Café Du France, the La Shish owners managed to keep the Chef, hence keeping the extensive French fare on the Breakfast menu. The Kabobs and Gyros are exceptional, they’ve got a note worthy kid’s menu with items like a Grilled Cheese Croissant, as well as a mouth watering selection of specialty coffee drinks and cream sodas.

    What exactly is 'eh?'

Eh. I don’t feel strongly about it either way. I don’t hate it or love it, I wouldn’t recommend it or dismiss it, it just is.
