I have been in there a few times and always had terrible experiences. All that changed last Saturday during the Broncos game. The food is getting better and the thug guests make you want to watch your back but for the first time we had good service! Ben was outstanding and even though they were slammed during the game he still came to our table in a timely manner and explained that the food would take up to an hour because of how busy they were. He brought us our drinks within a few minutes and even though he was putting up with a ton of attitude from the "regulars" he always stayed in a good mood and gave us the best service we have ever had there! As long as he is there we will definetly come in alot more!

To clarify, Challengers does not sell wings by the bucket. There are 9 flavors and they are not .19 cents per wing, The food does not range from $9.00-$15.00 it actually is great food ranging from $1.50- $8.75 for Happy Hour food and a full menu and then there are great pizzas as well.Challengers offers some of the lowest prices around with a very clean atmosphere and yes, GREAT food! As with any business, you cant please every person every time, so I suggest you try Challengers yourself and not listen to the few people with negative comments! The owners are great people just trying to offer a nice place to go and relax with your friends or family, yes there is a dress code because they want it to be a classy sports bar.

I frequent this bar/restaurant when I'm in town. I've never had a problem until the night of 6/4/10. I was harassed by the wait staff while standing by the bar minding my business and enjoying a beer. The rude waitresses made a remark about my attire and told me that I had an item on that was against their policy. I made an issue about it and was immediately rejected from the establishment, and on top of that, was not allowed to finish my overpriced bottle of beer. While standing outside waiting for a ride, I took the time to read their dress code policy that was posted on the door in the main entrance. The item in question was not mentioned at all which made me believe that it was just a reason to harass me. While I continued to wait for my ride, I was met by a group of angry patrons who were also kicked out for refusing to tip the rude waitresses for their awful service! The wait staff at Challenger's are known for forcing tips despite their rude attitudes towards customers. There is even one waitress in particular who will immediately tattle (yes, I said "tattle") on you if you don't comply to whatever she decides to harass you about. The manager will ALWAYS take the side of his staff, even when they're in the wrong (which I found out the hard way). Hey, if you're looking for cheap wings and don't mind the rude service that comes with it, Challenger's is the place to be! By the way, I change my rating to ZERO stars because it suits this establishment best! Thank you for taking the time to read this review. I hope it was a great help to any potential new patrons who are better off spending their hard earned money elsewhere.

I was at Challengers this weekend. I have my receipt and my charge just cleared on my bank card. Seems the waitress has added $1.00 to the tip amount I left her. WOW! I will be calling them today as well.
I know a lot of the folks from America's and get along pretty well with them. I know you either hit it off with them or you don't. It's a shame because their food is delish. They should be a little more hospitable. This girl I don't know.
Be careful! This is not a good practice!!
