  • The Tavern on 26th Avenue melds a small neighborhood bar ambiance with a taste for games and fun. Sure, there's menu of familiar bar staples such as meatball sandwiches, polish sausage, black bean burritos and barbecue sandwiches (all for around $6), there's daily drink specials and 64-ounce pitchers of Keystone Light for $5.99. But, there are also games and performances almost every night of the week, including Karaoke at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (Wed. and Thu. are Ladies Nites), Guitar Hero on Thursday and a continuous pool league Monday through Thursday. It makes for a fun mix of traditional bar mood and a full menu of interactive events.
