Buzz about The Sink
DoctorRob wrote about The Sink
They allege that Robert Redford worked there, or that they once served Commander Cody a complimentary slice of pizza so thick they gave it an entirely new name. One thing is certain, they definitely have the lowest ceilings in Boulder. Duck your head while trucking between the bar and restaurant, or you might just end up using your kitsch Sink bumper sticker (one comes with every meal) as a band-aid. Goofy graffiti and Boulder jokes aside, the sandwiches and pizzas are top-notch.

The Sink is keeping the college “Hill” alive with its righteous location and crazy wall art, since 1923. We bet you are needing a juicy story to go with your juicy ‘Sink’ burger, eh? Guess who was once scrubbing the floors and picking up plates?! None other than Robert Redford, we kid you not. Yuppers, that’s correct-o-mundo. The Sink has its history. The walls are smothered in colorful caricatures of many people, some famous, some not-so-famous. Either way, The Sink has low ceilings and floor to ceiling artwork. Pizza is their specialty. Once you’re done with your slice, go ahead, dip that crust in honey—that’s the way of the pro “Sinksters.” A popular beer selection is the “Buff Gold” being that you’re in CU Buffalo territory. Guess what? They also deliver, so if you’ve been sipping on grandma’s cough medicine and can’t move, no worries they’ve got your back. The restaurant also went "Green," they run off of 100% wind power, instead of plastic straws they have "corn straws" and they recycle compost everyday.
