Italian restaurants have a certain amount of theater built into the menu: It’s so much more fun to talk about “zuppe” and “insalate” instead of the more mundane soup and salad. Campo de Fiori, located in Cherry Creek, has more going for it than linguistic games. The seasonal menu is heavy on pasta, naturally, with the Linguine Positano (shrimp sautéed in white wine with garlic, cherry tomatoes, arugula and basil) holding court as a signature dish. The risottos are brisk sellers, as are the salads, notably the Romana alla Griglia featuring grilled romaine and applewood-smoked pancetta.
