The presence of Gordon Ramsay makes this the only reality show worth watching, in my vain opinion. His ability to conjure new modes of swearing is unparalleled. His desire to torment spatula-jockeys with a questionable lust to be on television is entirely sensible and just. If one watches such shows in order to be entertained, Hell's Kitchen whips Top Chef into a sad, pretentious meringue.
