It was a year which began with a writers' strike—and is ending with the threat of an actors' strike. So it should come as no surprise that this year's TV offerings were a mixed bag of half-baked pilots, lackluster procedurals and all-you-can-eat "unscripted" programming.

There's a seemingly endless list of reality shows and competitions from which to choose ("Living Lohan," "Celebrity Circus," "Date My Ex," "Blush" and, let's face it, this season's "Project Runway"), but here's our look at the five worst TV shows of 2008. Don't say we didn't warn you!
