Meet the newest aliens coming to a city near you

I watched the first episode and wasn't disappointed. My only complaint is that I think they rushed things unnecessarily. By the end of the first hour, the visitors have arrived and are revealed to be meanies, the resistance has started to form, and we discover that there are good aliens. Considering that it's a series and not a mini-series, they really could have allowed things to develop at a more suspenseful pace. But I guess in these times of instant gratification, everything has to be shoved up front. I'm hoping they can settle down in the ensuing episodes.
