1. The Office (UK)

This is a seriously great list but (and there is always a but) there was one show that was seriously forgotten. The Shield was fantastic, heartbreaking and never compromising. It never got off the main subject and really showed how some events in life never seem to leave us. I agree that The Wire was shafted by not being number one but the number two is a pleasant surprise!

I'm glad 'The Wire' was listed as #2 at least, but IMHO it should have edged out the UK version of 'The Office' for the top spot.
