Young Actors Theatre
At the Young Actors Theatre in Centennial, elementary school kiddos are taught both classroom and production education. This non-profit organization is kicking off its 26th year. They moved from a downtown center to a more kid-friendly atmosphere at Walnut Hill Community Elementary. The six to eight productions, ranging from Peter Pan to The Wizard of Oz, (and even some Shakespeare plays) are held each summer for the public at no charge. No parental units, it is tempting to bring the ol’ flasks to the shows, but we would save that for the celebratory dinner at Chuck E. Cheese.
