Soccer, or if you’re British, ‘football’. The Colorado Rapids are, in fact, the state’s professional soccer team. While the city is bustling on about how young new Broncos coach, Josh McDaniels, is or how sucky the Avs have played this year, the Rapids are gearing up for the 2009 soccer season.
After almost making the playoffs last year, the Rapids are more amped than ever to kick ass this season. Let’s get real: Nothing ticks teams off more than “almost” making it. The Rapids have what it takes to be the best team in the country, and it is time that you know who they are so you can start the braggin’.
