Our street team partied for all nine innings
April 10 marked the start of the Rockies season here on home turf at Coors Field. Playing against the defending 2008 World Series Champs, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Rox walked away with a 10-3 win, marking a quality start at home.
Opening Day is always a celebration and giant party in LoDo. Whether people have tickets to the game or not, fans from all over the state flood the surrounding bars to get in on the action and celebrate the start of the season.
The Metromix Street Team was there to catch all the parties in LoDo. With no shock from us, fans were sporting Rockies gear left and right as they cheered the boys in purple on. Check out the photos from all over LoDo, and who knows, you may be in one or two of them.
