Colorado Rockies 2009 Schedule | Metromix Denver
Colorado Rockies 2009 Schedule

There is nothing better than planning your entire day around Coors Field. With a bevy of bars and watering holes within stumbling distance, you’ll never run out of pre-game happy hour spots. We have the entire 2009 Rockies schedule for you to pick which series, day and time you want to head to Coor Field. We need to brush the 2008 season off, relive the 2007 season, and hope for good things to come this year. No Matt Holliday, but that won't stop the Rockies from playing small ball and winning games.

Pick the month below and find the perfect game for you to attend. Be it in the "Rock Pile" of behind the plate, either way, there is nothing better than heading to a ball game.

April 2009

April 2009

Opening Day is finally among us. We can already taste the many flavorings that Coors Field had to offer. April is the start of the baseball season as we hope the boys in purple shine as if it were 2007 again. With our new starting line-up we're hoping for some big wins. Check out when they're going to be at home so you can schedule a fun day (or night) at the ballpark.

May 2009

May 2009

With five series played at home, we'll get a nice dose of the Blake Street Bombers this month. The season is well underway and now it's time to get down and dirty. Click the game you want to go to for more information.

June 2009

June 2009

June is an exciting month for Coors Field–that is, of course, if you're from the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle Mariners are kicking the home games off this month in the 3-game series. That's right, Ichiro will be standing in left field of Coors Field. Are you ready for the random fact of the year? The same people who designed SafeCo Field in Seattle also designed Coors Field. So there are many similarities, except, our team is better. Joining the Mariners this month are the Padres and the Rays.

July 2009

July 2009

July is always such a fun month to head down to the ballpark. For one, the weather is hotter than Troy Tulowitski in speedos. Secondly, the fireworks shows surrounding the Fourth of July are so magnificent at Coors Field. If you go on either day, July 3 or 4, you can sit down on the field itself as you watch the fireworks after the game. Other than that, there are 16 games in total this month, so you have no excuse to not head to the park.

August 2009

August 2009

Get your rally caps ready. The end of the season is near and August plays a huge role for the MLB as all teams are sprinting to the playoffs. Games in August add that much more excitement–especially when the Cubs are in town for a 4-game series. Get ready to sit at the edge of the bench as you watch our purple-wearing boys sweep the series and finish in first.

September 2009

September 2009

The end is near....well, it is pretty much here. Unless our boys secure their spot in the playoffs. It'll happen 2007-style, we have faith. With the last month of the regular season here and the weather still nice, it is time to head down to LoDo to root on the 'Rox'.
