How much is a glass of your “brew master special?”
Legnard: I would hate to tell you right now, but Aramark is the one who sells it. In terms of numbers of beers we sell, that’s another Aramark answer. We always get a good crowd in here and I think it is a destination when they come to the game to stop here.
So….how many Blue Moons do you think you have drunk in your life? Are you sick of it?
Sick of it, no. The problem with how many, it would seem like a lot if you divide it over the years. But honestly, it is like a sample or two a day. The job involves tasting the beer in all stages of the process. So we taste it when it is going out of the kettle into the fermenter. We taste it when it is in the fermenter being fermented and producing alcohol.
We taste it when it is out of the fermenter and into the aging tank. And we always taste it when it is going to the keg or to the market. It is literally a hands on…or tongue-on kind of proposition where we taste it all along to make sure that it is good.
