This pizza is awesome. The wings were really good too. We can't wait to try more items off the menu. Very family friendly. The service was also good - everyone was real nice. It's a shame about the bad review, sounds like someone was just trying to get something for free. Who doesn't know that toppings are extra? I'm glad you're not going back to Granelli's because you don't sound like someone I'd like to rub elbows with!

This is a great place for lunch or dinner. The service is great, even when the place is hopping. I love, love, love their Fish Tacos, and the pizza is wonderful.

the place was never a really great place but recently (new owners?) it has gone way down hill. Its dirty inside the floors, flatware dishes busing tub overflowing, booths, chairs, tables and outside looks like its abandon you can rat traps. We saw a member of the wait staff use a fork to scratch her back a then returned it to the bin with the rest of the "clean" forks. The staff both wait and cook like to hang out near the dumpster. They also took down the american flag (sad that immigrants aren't proud of our flag). It would polite if there used english when they all talk around/about customers. Its may be a buffet during some parts of the day but not the 2x i've been. but we could order? then its not a buffet right duh? They have no problems interrupting your meal to add napkins ect (they don't want to wait till after they are closed?)The "grill" is never ready. The place is way over priced the pepsi is weak (they had coca cola that was better).$2+ for a water down soda? I feel like they have no respect for the customer or the usa. seems like all they wanted was to take our money. I have stopped going and i strongly suggest you do the same!

We were sat in a construction zone on 12/9 with nothing but space heaters and poor service.
CAgirl79 wrote about Montview Bar & Grill
I saw that they recommended bringing your family here....absolutely not! There are scary, gang member types here. The drinks are really cheap; I guess it is the only way to lure people here. I left early because someone was stabbed, yes stabbed, in the men''s room. I was later told there had been a shooting there about a year ago.

Cafe Colorado is a great little spot in Cherry Creek. The food is great and the coffee is incredible! The very friendly staff don't take themselves too seriously and are very flexible. There's a great patio to people watch and even an indoor stage where you can catch various local artists playing. My wife and I will be back!
sbcioch wrote about August Moon Asian Grill
August Moon acts like it's the only Chinese Food restaurant in Parker, CO. We have ordered from this establishment for years. But, over the years, their service has gone down hill. We ordered $40 worth of delivery. But when they screw up the order, their response is, "Just tell us about it next time, and we'll take 10% off." Wait, I'm the customer. You screwed up the order, and it's up to me to tell you about it next time? How about I never order again?
raysmom wrote about Simms Steakhouse
As much as I loved the old Simms Landing, it had taken a slide over the years. This new Landry's version is enough the same to fit the bill, but upgraded to another level, The interior is nicely updated, and takes even better advantage of the fabulous views, with a more intimate setting. The service is a whole different animal- real pros, and several servers bring each course by hand- no rickety serving tables or who gets what. Get your wallet out- it's pricey, but it's very good. The appetizers are top-notch, get the tuna tartar, OMG! The steaks and lobster were perfectly cooked, and the baked potatoes are HUGE. The Au gratin potatoes come in their own tureen, and are rich and enough for two. The veggies were nice, if a tad tough, and the house chopped salad, which is alacarte, is great. The lobster bisque, also alacarte, was excellent. The bread is in separate baking cups like a souffle', and very good, but the one thing I would say, and I heard several diners say, is that bread should not be extra- people just expect bread right off the bat with their drinks, even though they bring the appetizers asap. For the prices, it should be included, not a course after appetizer. That being said, the drinks are generous, the service and food and ambiance are upscale in a way West Metro has been lacking, and the $300+ for the four of us was well spent for a surprisingly enjoyable evening. (If you go after 6:30 or so, have a reservation- we got a great table at about 6:00, but it filled up by 7:00!)

We've eaten at Taste of Thai several times and have really enjoyed their food. If you've ever tried to make a Tandoori pork dish, vindaloo or chicken tikka masala, you'll appreciate a good one when you try it. The spices and flavor are all there and nicely rounded out. The main dishes at least ranks with the Bengal Tiger in Seattle, WA. However, the naan could use a little work.
Cat_MacKinnon commented on Any questions?
Kilts have only been part of Irish culture for about a hundred years, and are rarely worn by anyone aside from dancers. They are generally not considered traditional Irish garnments. And tartans are certainly not Irish either, as Ireland never had a clan system. The very few kilts worn in Ireland tend to be solid colors, such as black or saffron. Kilts, sporrans and tartans are Scottish. This place seems to be a complete bastardization of Celtic traditions just to make a buck. Hopefully it won't last long (and someone needs to tell the guy in the black kilt that his kilt is too long: kilts are supposed to stop either just above the knee or right in the middle of the kneecap.)

LBErie wrote about Colorado Coal Company
What else can I say. If you want a McDonalds style burger but slightly bigger this is where to go! They advertise a $9-$15 price range...yeah if you want only an appetizer! The staff seemed friendly enough but not very attentive. Overall not the greatest experience.
robertc9789 wrote about Jo Jo's Bar & Grill
Long time SW Denver business folks, Bobby and wife Jo-Jo run a great local bar with food, great drinks and a great juke box with live music some weekends. Just a clean great place to enjoy a drink and your favorite game on the many TV's there. The bathroom's are probably cleaner than your's at home, Really!

Anthony Bourdain hates Denver. I heart him, though....
ELLEMARIE commented on Nevaeh Salad
too bad Anthony Bourdain hates Denver. I bet he's having his food flown in from NY. Or Thailand, for that matter.

SFX wrote about Old Blinking Light
The Old Blinking Light Is a hip, trendy, cozy, comfortable dining emporium for guests of all ages. The atmosphere pulsates with a positive attitude. The food delivers with passionate flavors assembled into colorful dishes that are not disguised by flamboyance. Also, they have an attractive wine list both, in quality and price. Service is refreshingly polished and refined. In an area that is developing to be bound by chain restaurants and hopefully not gagged by chain restaurants, the OBL has the potential to be one of Denver's really great independent restaurants. It can hold its own anywhere.
PowderBlues wrote about Slattery's Irish Pub
I've been to Slattery's many many times since it opened about a year ago due to its close proximity to my work. The food is decent enough. I like the chicken ceasar wrap and open face turkey sandwich. A number of flat screen tv's adorn the walls with either sports or CNBC playing. However, using the word "PUB" in its name is a bit of bait and switch. The crowd is typically quite a bit older and often on the stuck-up side. It is in Greenwood Village after all, and everything in the Landmark area is meant to be upper-end. The staff is generally slow and beers/drinks are always slow to arrive. As a result they don't accomodate happy hours very well, but do have BOGO drinks til 6pm (kinda short happy hour). I've also had instances where the staff (managers) have been very rude. Currently the place benefits from being really the only "bar" in that Landmark area, getting the local workplaces and people going to Comedy Works or the movie theatre.
Blu wrote about Sheridan Cafe
We used to like this place alot but as we became usual customers we were appalled by the treatment we received from the staff and their arrogant teenage sons. We are never going to eat at this place after today aside from the rude treatment we have found two pubic hairs, (not head hair) in two different dishes we ordered. I suggest if you like rude treatment, hair in your food, and unsanitary conditions this is the place for you.
