I am assuming an employee wrote the last comment, because I have never heard a good thing about this place, and after visiting I now see why. Stuffy service with a bad product. It's one thing to be snobby if you are pushing a high class joint, but the servers were rude on top of drinks in plastic cups. Laughable at best. But maybe I'm just biased because I miss B-52's!!!!

Funny reading these other reviews. Not only was I also over charged $100 for my bottle service (thankfully I caught it and had it voided before I left, unlike the unlucky fellow on here who was overcharged $600) but the bottle service was also horrible. Come to think of it, there was hardly any service in my bottle "service" at all. I was only spoken to by my waitress about 3 times in a 2 hour period. Thank god they don't make the vodka.

I went to Theorie for on Friday night and had the time of my life. The VIP Hostess was amazing and the managers and servers were excellent!! I would highly recommend this bar to anyone who is seeking a great crowd and awesome music. This bar is ahead of it's time and will be around in Lodo for many weekends to come!! Thank you THEORIE!!!!

Seriously, an evening at Theorie with bottle service is a complete waste of time and money. The VIP hostess was far too impressed with herself–it was almost laughable. Our server was even worse: she was never around, she never poured our drinks, and she was about as sharp as a spoon. The entire place doesn't know the point of customer service, and how important it is if they plan on staying alive in a finicky Denver bar market.

After taking full advantage of the $10 open bar for a private party that ended at midnight, I decided to close out my night with an $8 dollar red bull vodka. Being in the expected state of a broke college kid after enjoying 2 full hours of open bar bliss, I forgot to pick up my debt card and close out my one drink tab. After figuring this out when I couldn't pay for my cab ride home, I immediatly called the bar. They told me I would be charged a 20% gratuity for leaving it and could pick it up the next day anytime after 4PM. I probabaly would have tipped the cute blonde at the bar 50% anyways, so I went home relieved that my card was in safe hands. If only. After finding out they were closed the next day, I continued my drive back to Fort Collins where I live and weighed my options of either canceling the card and having a new one sent out to me by the end of the week, or making another hour drive back down the following weekend to pick it. The next day I woke up to separate $600, $10 and $8.60 charges on my account, all from club Theorie and only one of which was mine. Furious, I called the bar and spoke to a confused manager that said all we could do was wait and find out if the charges stuck, as they were all still pending. Followed by a call to my bank, they said the same. The only explanation I was given from the bar is that someone had accidentally run my card and hopefully voided it, which would mean the pending charge to my account would disappear. I have yet to be refunded, and my bank is in the process of investigating the charge if it is not removed within a week. Regardless, I am out that money until either one figures out what happened, which could take weeks. This is not to mention the flat beer and bogus free cruise give away sponsered by Denver2night which my friend won but has yet to receive anything. I would give this place zero stars if it wasn't for the good DJ's, cute blonde bartender who made sure to steer me away from the flat beer, and the manager dealing with this mess in a reasonable way. I would say if your bent on hittin this place up, don't plan on making a night out of it, but rather a pit stop on your Market street club/bar tour. Didn't have the food, but bias aside it looked like a decent menu.
