Sushi Katsu

Diners don’t usually visit the Asian markets and traditional, family owned restaurants of Aurora searching for nouveau, fusion cuisine. But if you’re looking something new and radical on your plate, it makes sense to go the source. At Katsuya Sushi, the menu items may have cute names (like the “Marilyn Mon Roll”. Because it’s “hot”… get it?) but the sushi and sashimi is the real deal. No, the Sushi Pizza isn’t some mad doctor experiment  in mutant fusion cuisine; it’s all in the presentation of traditional ingredients, like  crabmeat and yellowtail, which speaks to the deft skill and artistry of the sushi chefs employed here. Nevermind the majority fo the staff here is Korean, the Japanese food here falls nothing short of authentic.
