Denver meets the Sea at Wyland’s Ocean Blue ribbon-cutting soiree
Wyland’s Ocean Blue is an upscale, fine dining restaurant and art gallery inspired by renowned marine wildlife artist Wyland. The new Denver restaurant had their grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration at The Shops at Northfield Stapleton. The Denver Wyland's marks the second U.S. location for the upscale seafood eatery and art gallery, which premiered in Fairview, Texas in July 2010.
Wyland said “Everyone is going green now and that’s great, but really blue is the new green. You’ve got to go blue because without water, there is no green.” During the party, he said “Here, The Rocky Mountains and the ocean finally meet.”
The artist’s sea-inspired art pairs well with the carefully crafted menu featuring sustainably caught seafood, farm-to-table meats and coastal Pacific flavors with local and seasonal influences.
