Some people are allergic to shellfish. Those people (assuming they’ve determined life is worth living in spite of the incapability to enjoy molluscs, crustaceans and echinoderms) should not go to Jax. Well they could, but it’d be like a masochist playing paintball during Lent. For those of us who get the pleasure of shrimp, clam and oyster company, Jax is one of the city’s best – and most fun – seafood restaurants. During happy hour try a $2 oyster shooter – oyster, vodka and bloody Mary mix. And then kiss your significant other. They’ll really appreciate that.

So good. Took the p's when they came to town and had a great time. Great selection of Oysters..but the drinks needed to be a little stiffer :)
