Wonderful local bakery

One of my good friends worked here on the early morning shift during college. I never realized they had lunch in addition to their pastry and baked goods! Its family owned and operated, which gives me another reason to really want to support it, especially in this economy. If you like Dutch Letters, this is the place to go, outside of Pella of course!

I was so excited to find out that they also have a breakfast and lunch menu. While everything looks good, Ive only had their lunch once. I couldnt decide between the Rueben (my very favorite) and the chicken salad (which I heard was awesome). I went with the chicken salad and it lived up to its stellar reviews. It was creamy, but not too rich, so I didnt feel gross all afternoon back at work. A bonus-the sandwiches come with chips, a pickle and a cookie. I cant wait to go back and try the RuebeN!
