The guy in the hat with money hanging out of it with a catchy jingle seems to ring in Coloradans' heads when they think of The Lodge Casino in Black Hawk. The commecials advertising the popular hotel and casino within the old gamblin' town always run throughout our television programming, yet, how much do we really know about the Lodge Casino?
Popular commercials aside, there is lots to be seen—and eaten—within the walls of the tall building located in the heart of Black Hawk. For one, their upscale steak and seafood restaurant on the second floor called The White Buffalo Grille. Misconceptions on dining in Black Hawk have been made—People seem to picture $4 all-you-can-eat prime rib buffets. Although cheap prime rib exists in Black Hawk, so does fine dining and we found it at The White Buffalo Grille.
