Good things do come from Los Angeles
By Erica Boniface
Metromix
There is a craze going on in Los Angeles called “yogurt.” Apparently our coastal neighbors to the west have found great benefits of yogurt and, luckily for us, siblings from Los Angeles decided to bring the craze to Denver. In August of 2008, they opened “Kuulture” in Writer's Square, offering delicious bowls of yogurt.
Naturally, Denver is a health conscious city, and yet, many of us overindulge in Wendy’s frostys from time to time because they taste so damn good. Look at it this way: Kuulture’s yogurts taste better than a Wendy’s Frosty and won’t affect your love handles like a Frosty will either. That’s right, you heard us correctly—the yogurt at Kuulture is fat free. “Fat free,” meaning “Free of fat,” something that we don’t hear all too often anymore.
Metromix dipped in on a hot day to cool down and to potentially get addicted to this new fad in town. What we soon discovered will shock you—healthy is actually good!
