“Delta 351, identify yourself!”

“Center, we are at The Runway Grill at the Metropolitan Airport, over and out”

“Delta 351, get me a prime rib sandwich, we hear they’re pretty good there.”

In case you haven’t notice, we landed at the restaurant right off the runways at Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield for a mach-speed lunch and to observe the many aircrafts taxiing before takeoff.

This was a new experience to us, we knew we’d see some planes, copters and attractive pilots—we didn’t know what the restaurant itself would be like.

Read on to learn more as we take flight at The Runway Grill.
