What's in a glass?
A proper wine glass must deliver the typical components of a grape variety; the glass will highlight balanced flavors, maximize fruit and integrate acidity or tannins into the overall pleasure of wine enjoyment. A person interested in wine is led by color, bouquet and taste, but often the glass is not considered as an instrument to convey the message of the wine. A big mistake. After Morton’s Steakhouse DTC unveiled Riedel’s glass series “Flow” along with a wine tasting on Oct. 10 (with a hefty serving of Morton-esque grub not to be forgotten), we figured we’d take a look at just what to look for when selecting your sipper.
