Baristas have the best memories

“Hey, Rolf,” the barista said cheerily as she greeted a regular as he stood waiting in line for his daily intake of our two favorite things: coffee and calories.

“Regular poppy seed bagel for you today?” the conversation continued.

“Yeah, the usual,” this supposed ‘Rolf’ character stated.

As we waited in line at St. Mark’s Coffeehouse off 17^th Avenue in Denver, the thought of ordering was getting overwhelming. Sometimes too many decisions can be a rough thing before you get your morning cup of coffee.–Erica Boniface, Metromix
