Denver chefs join forces with Denver Broncos for a good cause
The Hot Rocks Griller Challenge at Elway's in Cherry Creek was a great event for a great charity! The guests enjoyed all the activities, athlete participation, charity involvement and a mini concert from Chris Daniels and the Kings. The event was a great success—all to help raise awareness and funds for Denver Health Foundation's men's health programs.
Ten chefs from some of Denver's favorite restaurants grilled up their great take on 20 different sliders. The guests were then allowed to vote on which one they liked the best by buying poker chips worth $5-$100. The burger that raised the most money won! The Denver Health Foundation also raised funds through memorable moments with professional athletes. Guests spent just $5 to play Hoops with Denver Broncos, Ryan Harris, or face off on PlayStation with Kenny Parker or Josh Barrett. You could even get in a round of mini golf with Haven Moses and a PGA Professional, Russ Clark. Past Colorado politicians like Mayor Wellington Webb, and Governor Bill Owens were also in attendance.
What a fantastic event for the Denver Health Foundation men's health programs, an unforgettable event for an unforgettable cause.
