"Old ways, new hands," that’s how chef Richard Sandoval describes La Sandia. Using strong memories of his growing up in Acapulco, Sandoval opens his childhood memory scrapbook and uses his vast knowledge of the culinary arts to share it all with Denverites in the form of La Sandia. Although I’m sure not a part of his youngest memories, chef Sandoval also brings us a fully loaded tequila bar that knows one thing as well as it can be known, the distilled nectar of the agave plant.
