You can tell it's an election year by all the arguing going on about just about everything. The war, gay rights, abortion—yawn. The real conflict is where's Denver's best pizza? An answer being tossed around a lot is Virgilio's. It has its ardent fans and passionate enemies, but any place with this much buzz deserves a try. During happy hour slices are just $1.50, allowing you to taste a few Virgilio's varieties. They're known for their premium sausage, but be warned - the word premium means you'll pay extra.
